Insurance companies usually have two components to their training requirements for recreational boatersTime requirement. Insurance companies may ask for a minimum of 10 hours, an average of 20 and a maximum of 30 hours. 

1. The second requirement is the type of training that they require, which is on-water boating skills. Please find below the training plans with both course content and training plans based on the number of hours required.
